There can only be one winner in Fantasy General Election, but for everyone else there's The Liz Truss Award.
There's a famous saying (probably from a film, or something like that):
"If you're not first, you're last".
As far as Fantasy General Election is concerned, of course, that isn't technically true.
At the time of writing, our leaderboard goes from 1st - 4,900th.
However, while only one person can win the Fantasy General Election 2024 Champion's Mug, for everyone finishing 2nd - 4,900th there is one more opportunity to get your hands on some silverware (or ceramic, at least):
The Liz Truss Award.
What is it, and how do I win?
Some of the great leaders in history may have made their mark on humanity over the course of many years, or even decades.
To do so in a matter of weeks is a truly remarkable achievement.
The Liz Truss Award is a special prize, recognising the player(s) who have made a considerable difference - one way or another - over an especially short period of time.
In our case specifically, the period of time we're looking at is the next two weeks (between now and polling day).
And the significant achievement, rather than crashing the economy, is helping to spread the word about Fantasy General Election to as many people as possible.
What Do I Need To Do?
First of all, head over to your account page, and copy the Liz Truss Award link which has magically appeared underneath your team badge.
Next, share the link with as many people as possible.
Every time someone uses your link to sign up to Fantasy General Election, you will receive one entry into the Liz Truss Award prize draw.
At the end of the competition, we'll draw five names out of a hat to be worthy recipients of The 2024 Liz Truss Award.
And yep, you guessed it... The prize is very much mug-based.
